June was a crazy month... I went to Nashville to teach, to Memphis to set up a show and teach a workshop, back to Nashville to teach, back to Memphis for the Opening Reception, back to Nashville to teach for another week... and now I am finally home. So, back to blogging and time for some serious catching up...
Mixed Media Art Workshop June 18 in Memphis!
we had a wonderful turn-out! 14 people, my biggest workshop ever I believe...
I walk everyone through the first few steps, they choose their own colors and collage materials, we learn a few rules about color, composition, and begin!
then comes the fun part, in my opinion, collage!
above is a piece in progress, and below is the same piece finished at the end of the workshop!
above- unfinished... below, FINISHED!a lot of the people at this workshop came with some of their own materials and ideas and their pieces really turned out well because of the thought they put behind their work
